Quick Guide
This War of Mine: The Boardgame is more of an experience than a game, but Awaken Realms has made a hybrid that is excellent in both aspects. The game is fantastic. The experience is something I had hoped for and received in full. [Note: this site is not for the video game and is not official]
1st Edition has been out for a few years. Now Awaken Realms is preparing an expanded 2nd Edition via a GameFound pledge (due for August 2026 delivery next year).

Another great game with lots of narrative is coming this fall: Rogue Angels. It is a space exploration with battles game that comes with over 1,000 pages of missions, map setups and branching story. What you do in the game has consequences and often determines what will happen next! => My Rogue Angels

All 1st Edition content is compatible with the 2nd Edition game
Confirmed by Awaken Realms: All the 1st Edition expansions and exclusives are compatible with the 2nd Edition game.

No Major Changes to 1st Edition Scenarios
Confirmed by Awaken Realms: All previous content from 1st Edition and its add-ons and expansions should be basically the same with no real changes. PLUS note that they all should be compatible with the 2nd Edition game!

Confirmed by Awaken Realms: The acrylic markers pack is only for the markers in the Core Game. They carefully worded their reply [maybe they might upgrade this to all markers and tokens during the pledge manager?] I am including a list of what markers are included below the confirmation from Awaken Realms:

The language you choose for Veterans Pledge will be same for Stretch Goals
Confirmed by Awaken Realms: The language you choose for your Veterans Pledge [or Survivors Pledge or Core Pledge] will carry through to all the Stretch Goals that are included in that pledge.
